Guys, myself and 11 others are playing Turnberry mid March, does anyone know any courses near by in which we can play on the Saturday?

Good shout Stuart , Forgot about Dundonald - playing on a Saturday when the season has started might be tough , always worth asking the question tho

Dundonald, Western Gailes and Gailes Links are 3 cracking courses - although not in the 40 mph wind that I experienced!! Apparently that is just a stiff breeze!

My profile pic is from Dundonald.

I Think Dundonald is £50 per round up-till April. Its a great course at a fair price,
I played it before Christmas and it was in great condition.

I've enjoyed trips to Ayr for golf over many years, there's a couple of gems which are municipal courses that you and your group may have a better chance of all getting on.
Belleisle at Ayr and Lochgreen or The Darley at Troon, they shouldn't cost a fortune either, Lochgreen was once used as a qualifier for the Open.
