Well I turn 50 end of this month and had been looking forward to my surprise golf break(thanks to all the TT recommendations) but my wife cannot travel due to health issue so looks like I will be spending my day at home.

However, to make up for missing out my wife has said I can have a little treat from the Titleist catalogue, anybody know when the next set of irons might be out as the rest of my gear suits me?

Enjoy the rest of the season folks.

Sorry to hear of your disappointment, but hope your other half gets better soon. A rather awesome gesture considering the circumstances!
Based on the usual product cycle, new irons will start to appear on Tour soon and are likely to be available for fitting at some time in October, ready for release early November. I’m sure Luke will be able to confirm, or advise different...

Going by the usual 2 year release cycle I'd imagine Sept/Oct 2020

Hope the good lady gets well soon buddy!!

October / November time, Titleist will have to pull something very special out the bag to beat the current range of irons

    Stuart,
Sorry to hear of your disappointment...

Looks like the end of the year for 718 replacements....just wondering if we will see a new name as we did with TS drivers.

I'm waiting on the new hybrids.

Hope the Wife is able to travel soon and don't wait for the 60 for that golf break.

Thanks Steve, most important is my wife gets well. I kinda thought November so I will just need to be patient.

Well I had a cracking couple days for my 50th birthday in Glasgow and received some very generous gifts, notably a lovely watch from my wife and a days golfing at the Dukes course at St Andrews from my colleagues at the hospital.

My family have also surprised me with 10 days golf in the Canaries in November so I’m hoping the new irons will be available by then.

I managed to slip in a request for a new hybrid too, cheeky I know!

The Duke's is a very nice course, you'll love it
  11. Speedy recovery to your wife and hope you enjoy your trip

I'm excited to see what the next set of irons are like.

Well I have my fitting coming up on 26th of this month, I also have a great day 21st at The Dukes course St Andrews curtesy of my colleagues at work(nice bunch of nurses) and my wife has recovered fully she has booked a golf holiday in Canaries for full family in November so plenty of time to make my choice from the new T series.

    Anybody played the Dukes? Advice?

Don't play it off the back tees, you won't enjoy it, other than that it's a course I like.

I am with Stuart. Lovely place but the back tees are some slog

Thanks for the advice lads, to be honest I don’t have the game for back tees anymore.

Had a cracking day out at the Dukes today with my lovely wife caddying for me. Went round in 80 from green tees, thanks for the advice Stuart and Ricky, which was plenty long for me and as my hcp has now reached 10(9.5)I scored!

Nice meal and a couple of mementos of the day.

Fitting completed and shocked at my specs. Was playing AP2 with stiff Amt shafts, now T200 with Nippon 886 amc regular shaft. Turning 50 has turned me into a weakling. Thanks to Alistair of Titleist for his patience and professionalism during my fitting, my swing was shocking.

Alistair carried out both of my fittings earlier this year, a gentleman and a credit to Titleist.

I also ended up ordering a Scotty fastback as well, couldn’t resist.
