I have recently purchased a nice SM 10 Oil Can 58.04T grind and I love it around the greens (tight lies especially) but I'm experiencing difficulties in the bunkers. I feel like the club digs too much in the sand (lack of bounce obviously) and that my shots end up being too short (too much sand taken). I used to have a 58 soft K grind (06 bounce) and it worked fine in the sand (at least at my level... I'm a 5 handicap) Should I change something in my approach (less open face) ? Has anyone else experienced this problem as well ? Is this grind not made for (powdery) bunkers at all ? Thanks for your insight !

Sounds like you need more sole width that the LBK gave you.

Maybe try your next club up (I assume 54*). It'll likely have more bounce than the T grind or get a new SM 11 54.10 S to give you more playability out of a soft bunker. Learning distance and spin control may take some time but could be the new "go-to" bunker club.
Good luck and enjoy the journey!
