  1. Hello, I am trying to find out if the Titleist demo/display irons with the red colored grips are legal to play with or illegal.

    Thanks, Brent

Legal. The grip just denotes a demo club or iron. Same everything else.
  4. I can't say that I'm 100% positive, but I would think they are. I would think the grips are just to show they are a demo set.
  5. I would have thought that they would be legal? After all they are just the original clubs with a additional sticker and a different grip.

I bought some demos from my pro a while back and he just said they're sold cheaper to the pro shop for demo purposes and removing the sticker would make them as official as non demo clubs.

I also believe Titleist sells the red grips as standard on some clubs

I would think so. Why would Titleist make an illegal club? Does not make sense to me.

Should be ok, its just the demo grips. Other than that, will be the same.
  8. Thanks for all the input. The reason I was asking is because I had heard that you could be disqualified from tournaments for playing with demo clubs. Was just trying to verify if that was true or not.
