SIRHC, I have ordered a few sets of clubs for customers and asked for the grips to be shipped uninstalled in the box. They preferred a grip that Titleist did not offer and rather than charge them for another set of grips, I installed the grip they wanted…

There is a very recent post on this topic. This will void any Titleist guarantee. If it makes any difference, these would likely be not valid using in any official competition.

Two possible issues - ball height off of the mat, and the difference in the balls from the fitting to the range. Your best comparison is going on course with the same ball as the fitting. Regardless of the ball, using the same one will make a difference…
