    Hi everyone,

I am on the verge of buying a new Titleist 910 D2 (9.5º) Driver in the next few weeks. As you can imagine, finding the "right" shaft (stiff) has become a pure nightmare and although I have been inclined to look at the RIP (A70 or A80) and Rombax 7Z08 or Motore Speeder VC 7.2 it is only recent that I have been strongly attracted by the Diamana White 73....in fact this is probably what I will choose...

I would very much appreciate comments or suggestions regarding these shafts, how are they considered in the market and is my decision reasonable and appropriate .

(Swing speed 103-105mph, current handicap is 12 and going down)

    Thx

    Alfred

I just went through the same process as you and I decided on the Diamana White 73 connected to the 445cc D3 9.5 because of the low torque in the stiff. I spent time on the range setting the bias that gave me the ball flight and carry that I wanted. I have regained the lost 20 yards and I am very happy with the Diamana White. I played the Aldila 65 with low torque, but the Diamana truly felt better and smoother. My accuracy improved yesterday when I put all this into action.

Get real, you are a special unique individual much like a snowflake. No two people are alike. Save yourself a lot of heartache, closet space and most of all money, go to a fitting center and hit as many driver/shaft combinations as you need to find the perfect shaft for you.

I personally like Project X. It's honestly a matter of if you want the shaft to be lighter or will it allow you to swing it faster. Whatever you end up getting, make sure you get a stiff flex with your swing speed. Hoped that helped.

I would go with the rip shaft or the ust v2. I have the v2 86x in my driver and 96x in 3 wood and they launch it lower than the diamana and cost $100 less. they do play stiffer than other shafts due to the low torge.
