About a year ago I started putting with the logo and any lines hidden from view, and using a putter without lines on it. My thought is that if the line on the ball, or on the putter is a fraction off, depending on the length of the putt it will result in a misaligned putt. Just focus on the perceived line of travel to the hole. It took awhile to get used to it but I have seen a big improvement in putting and reading greens.
  2. I use the side stamp on the Yellow Pro V1 as an alignment aid.

I do not add an alignment mark or use the stamped aid on the Prov's. Don't have the patience to try to aim the mark. Relay on my eyes and stroke mechanics to hit the ball on line
  5. I tried for so long to use alignment aids on my golf balls but I found that I put better when I just ‘feel’ the put
  6. Yes I use the standard stamp on the seam of my Titleist... - ProV1x Been doing it forever. Let's me forget about the line and focus on distance, keeps my head down and I make a lot of putts. Club putting champion more than once... I've played around with the plastic jigs to draw a big line on the ball, with floating the balls to find the heavy spot, the spinning toy that finds the sweet spot... none of those caused any improvement. Titleist had it right from the start.... put the side stamp on the seam of the ball where it belongs and put the ... arrows on the stamp... been working for me since the Balata 100's...

Going into 2021 I am trying a 2 line system, similar to that of Callys triple track. Putting is my weakness so anything is a positive at this point in my game
  8. I have tried but I find its doesn't work for me. I always feel the ball is not on line when I address the put. Frankly nI think they should be outlawed because players who use alignment aids slow up the game. The ball is a round sphere so it doesn't care where the club makes contact. I always felt it was better to seek out a point on the green and hit to it.

Absolutely. I mark a line through the side stamp with a black sharpie. I can pick the line behind the ball, line it up and then stroke my putt along that line. It keeps me from pushing and pulling because all in trying to do at that point is putt the ball on a straight line and let the green do the work. Just like I practice in my house, it's just a straight putt at that point.
  10. I draw my putting line over the ProvX1 so that you can't tell it's a ProV. I lose way fewer balls on public courses that way as people don't put them in their pockets when they see it in the rough or in the wrong fareway.

When using the line, I found myself concentrating more on the line than the speed and I always came up short so it to me it got in the way.

I draw a blue line on my ProV1's. A red one for the ProV1X's. Not only does it help me with putts, but I also use it to identify my ball. "Titleist 1 with a blue stripe."

I use a straight line over the stamp for tee shots and a dime-sized dot on the other side when putting. It reminds me to keep my head down and stroke through the ball.

An alignment aid helps if you stick to it for a while. I have never committed myself to use one for more than a couple of weeks.
  15. I've tried both on the green and the "T" on the teeing area. The Teeing area one was more difficult because I'm not looking down on the ball from the top when addressing and hitting the driver. On the green, I'm a feel putter and see the line I want the ball to roll on before I hit the put so didn't work for me either.
  16. No lines for me, my speed tends to be off when I use the line. I use the 2020 Fastback 1.5 and it has a longer line on the putter that makes it easier to aim the putter, I just focus on speed when over the ball

I've used the side stamp for at least 20 years now for putting. Haven't tried using it off the tee. Recently ordered -Pro V1x with one of the Titleist custom alignment aid and can't wait to try it out.

I add my own to my amber Pro-V1s There is no option on MyTitleist for custom alignments. Will wait and see what the side stamp looks line on the 2021 amber. Also be nice for a custom number beyond 1, 2, 3, or 4.
