  1. Finally got out and gave the sample Tour Speed a try. I go back to the Club Special and DT wound ball and have an unorthodox game. There are few Titleist balls I can’t stop with a full swing into the greens found in the MidAtlantic region but I prefer to hit knock down shots from distances under 120. I guess my 110 driver speed still qualifies as high speed although I don’t hit that number, let alone exceed it, as often as I once did.
I compared the new ball to the Wilson Duo Pro and find it flies a bit lower with similar distances. It is however much firmer feeling with the wedge on short shots and feels a bit easier to control. When my back cooperates I plan to give the Tour Speed a go on a much more demanding course and will update this review.

Tried it and loved the Tour Speed. Has decent spin around the greens. Seems to a lot of pop off the driver. Like the Velocity.

I am very impressed with the newest iteration of this ball. It performs as advertised. Soft off the face of the club, launches long with lower spin, better spin in the short game, and increased cover durability.
  4. I'm really loving these balls - but please please Titleist can you consider making the finish of these balls more becoming of a new golf ball? I find the appearance of these balls dull and lacking the shiny cover that I expect playing a Titleist. After just two holes I feel like I'm teeing up a secondhand ball that's been in the bottom of my bag. No amount of cleaning improves the look of these dull balls, and I'm finding these are harder visually to spot in any type of rough. Please make the finish of these balls shinner. Thanks John
