Dish soap, warm water and a plastic bristle brush - wet grip, scrub with soap and brush, rinse and pat dry. You can also use a very fine sand paper and sand the cord area lightly that sometimes brings them back to new. But finally, I don't buy new clubs a lot, but do change my grips before the start of each season. I play about 60 rounds a season.

Thanks everyone for the great feedback. I think I will change my grips & be more proactive on keeping them clean throughout the season. I usually place my clubs back in the bag or prop them up off the ground when practicing. Clubs never stay in the car or outside so it's just use and buildup.

Thanks again everyone & have a great year

To add something different to this topic, I try to make it a point to wash my hands with soap and water before I go to the range or play. It's just a little thing I do try and preserve the life of my grips.
