I love my new TS3. Played my first round with it today and the ball was jumping off the club face. Best Titleist driver in years.
  2. Received my fitted TS-2 Driver and TS-2 3 wood yesterday. Went to the range today and I have these initial thoughts
    1) Definitely a different sound/feel at impact
    2) Distance is better but, I would have to say minimal (5 - 9 yds)
    3) It seems to swing through the ball easier (less effort to gain same distance)
    4) Seemed to feel like I had more control over the head at impact
    5) I like that Titleist reversed the center indicator on top of the head

Overall, I am really pleased with my purchase. I previously had the 917D2 and the 917F2. I definitely like the feel and look of these clubs.

Got my TS3 today, 9.5 B2 setting, 45” with +2gr weight. Smoke 60 in Xstiff. Man does this driver feel great. Played a quick 9 holes today, loved the trajectory and forgiveness. It was definitely longer than my 917D3, not by a lot, but a good club less into some greens.

I am going to Biloxi for 5 rounds in 2 weeks, cannot wait to put this into play.
  4. I had a fitting and decided to see if other brands might be an option so I tried a png G400 Max, cally Rogue SZ and TM M3 also just to see if there was any difference.

The TS3 smoked them all. The M3 was closest, about 8yards less carry but dispersion was super tight with the titleist.

I can't wait to get a fitting on October 10, 2018. The clubs came into the pro shop has promised but no regular shafts were received. I like the looks of the TS3 but seems everyone is having success with the TS2. We'll see and I will let you know how it goes; really excited.

KOgle, I thought the TS2 would match up for me but the numbers were actually better with the TS3 so that's what i have ordered. Make sure your fitting allows you to try both with multiple shafts. Good luck!

I have seen the Titleist TS drivers and metals on tour. They look amazing.
It's also great to see how the Titleist tour reps work with the hot glue to change the sound of the club. Less sound is more hot glue, more sound less hot glue.

Unfortunately the TS drivers demo's haven't arrived in the Netherlands yet. I'm willing to buy the product however I would like to get a real fitting into the Titleist equipment. Because the TS models really needed to be fitted. In the previous versions you could simply buy the standard - straight of the shelve. But the TS models really need a custom fitting session. I've always been into the D2 models. Last time I hit Titleist driver it was the 909 D2, I had a Grafalloy blue shaft in there. It was the best driver I've ever had.
Unfortunately Titleist doesn't have the Grafalloy Blue into their product line. I really hope the new Titleist TS models coming soon to the Netherlands. Would really like to have this model in the bag!

TS2 should be here on the 4th. Project X Even Flow White 65 Stiff shaft. 10.5 degrees.

Picked up 13 yards from 917, and accuracy seemed a bit better.

Can't wait to see how it fares in play.

My TS2 driver and 3 fairway metal came in on Friday. Played 36 holes with them on Saturday and Sunday. Came from playing the 917 D3. Took about 9 holes to get dialed in, but once I “found” my swing, it was lights out. It was hard to judge distances because the ground was soaked on both days and quite windy. Didn’t get any run out at all as the ball mostly plugged in the fairways due to the conditions. However, the sound and feel was amazing. Ball flight seemed higher, straighter and handled the head winds quite nicely. Very accurate also. I hit 22 out of 30 fairways over the two days with most of my misses coming from the first 9 holes played with the new driver. Can’t wait to get back out there in perfect conditions to see what kind of distances I can achieve. There is nothing like a new driver and with new #2019Proto balls coming soon, I am really excited for 2019. Figuring I still have a month or two before it gets real cold. This is gonna be a looooong winter up here in the Northeast!!!
  12. New sticks arrived and have been put into play. Mine is a TS3 9.5* with Smoke 6.0 shaft. Fairway is a TS2 15* with Smoke 6.0 shaft. These definitely live up to their billing. I admit that I had lost some distance with previous generations, so it was nice to see the distance return. I'm back to landing in spots on the course I play where I hoped to be. And these are forgiving too. Mishits didn't see a dramatic decrease in distance. No big slices or hooks either. I found I could work the ball either way when needed. In my configuration I had a mid-flight boring trajectory that ran out nicely when the ball hit the ground. The sound is fine too.

The fun is back in the game with these clubs!

    Enjoy!

    How is this thing legal?
Full disclosure - I hate marketing and all this driver tech. I write it all off as garbage. I posted about this earlier on WRX, but I've hit everything and they're all about the same. Drivers have been maxed for a while. Even the Titleist line has been a big smoke and mirror show in the driver category. I know this because I hit my 910 past the 917 and the 913. For whatever reason, the 915 was a LOT straighter for me than even my 910, so it's in the bag. I'm pretty loyal to Titleist for a number of reasons - traditional looks/feel, no weird garbage to look down at at address, great sound, the steadfast 2 year product cycle and, just as important as anything else, the consistent SureFit hosel that allows me to put my upcharge shaft in any of the models and have it work.

So with all of that, knowing that 915 goes the same as Epic, M1/2/3/4, G400 and all the others (there isn't 5 yards to pick and choose between ANY of these drivers, how in the hell can I get 14 yards of carry and 22 overall yards from a TS3 and it still be conforming? Spin was right around my usual 2400-2600 and launch was my usual 11.5-13*. May shaft is just a shade under 45" and was the same for both drivers. The ball speeds were crazy. I can rule out any anomalies in the launch monitor because I hit alternating shots with it and my gamer. And I hit a lot of them. We're not going to find out 6 months from now that some of the retail and demo models were actually hot, are we?

I'm a Titleist fan, but the numbers just don't make any sense. And proposing that "it's just better" isn't something I'm going to buy. I actually didn't order one because I can't wrap my head around this. I've hit all the drivers from all the big OEM's and there's never been anomalies like this - they're all pretty much the same when you middle them.

I received my TS3 on 20 September and finally got the chance to go play it (2 rounds). Looks fantastic, feels awesome, sounds great and is very long! The best driver on the market period, I have played all of the top Drivers in golf, the TS drivers are at the top!

I didn't get fit either, I just went off of prior experience with shafts, loft, etc... I am going today to check out the fairway woods to test which will fit my game; fwy woods are much harder to replace than a driver in my opinion, but if they're as easy to hit combined with the distance of my TS3 driver, I will be a very happy man!
  16. TS2 driver in bag and in play. I have owned a 915 driver which I absolutely loved. I bought a 917 and never got it working for me. Very close to changing brands and then I was fitted for a new TS2. Wow is all I can say. This is my 915 with 25 more yards distance. It is smooth, straight and long.
Make sure you get fit for it however. If I were to just go purchase one off the rack, I would have chosen incorrectly.

About two weeks ago a Titleist rep was at my local club and I wanted to see what the buzz was for the new line of TS metals. I went through a fitting for a TS driver and I added 18 yards to my carry distance. I wouldn't of believed it but the Trackman numbers do not lie. I was fitted for the TS2 with the HZRDUS Smoke shaft and I loved it so much during the fitting that I also got a TS2 3 wood too. I'm pretty consistent with a 3wood off the tee, but off the deck is another story. After spending some time fine tuning during the fitting, I was hitting effortless shots with the new TS2 3 metal. I've never hit a 3wood as far as the TS2 that day. Needless to say I ordered a TS driver and 3 wood that day.

Update: My new TS2 driver and 3 wood recently arrived and I just played 9 holes with them. We have been getting a lot of rain in the area so I didnt get any roll. Well, funny thing about this day is my carry distance was off the charts that I was still in my usual spots on the course with no roll. These clubs are legit.

    Thanks Titleist!
  18. Game changing technology with the TS family! Played four rounds and have hit more fairways with more distance than I ever have. Thanks, Titleist!
  19. What did it for me was one particular hole on the course I regularly play. It's a short par 4, 299 yards, slight dog leg left, with the green fronted by bunkers. I usually hit a fairway wood to avoid the bunkers and that sets me up with a simple wedge shot.
On this day the tees were up a bit, 275-80 or so. So, I decided to "go big or go home" and I pulled the new TS3 and pegged a tee in the ground. Purred a shot with a slight curve around the dog leg. I couldn't see where it landed, but when I got around the corner, low and behold, the ball was on the green! 40 foot eagle putt (missed but still made the bird)!

The TS3 is the real deal! Longer. Workable. Sweet feel! So glad I added it to the bag.

    Enjoy!

Just took the new TS2 out at Newport National. Super consistent in terms of distance and direction. Love the feel of the HZRDUS Smoke. The ball flight held up well against the winds there. Kudos to the product team on this one -- I've never been this comfortable with a new driver this quickly. Thanks to Paul for my Titleist Thursday fitting!

I was fitted at a Titleist Thursday into a TS2 driver with KuroKage. I hit it much better than the 917 I was playing. On a golf trip last week I traded in the 917 driver for a TS2 16.5* fairway metal with the KuroKage shaft and I am even more excited about this club than I am the driver. I had given up on fairway metals and had a gap from the driver to an 18* hybrid in my bag. Now the thrill is back having this fairway metal that I already trust off the tee and from the deck. I even played a couple of shots from so-so lies in the rough and was happy with the results.
