Do they have a name yet?

I love my GT2 but will definitely be checking the new one out.

I was about to pull the trigger on a new GT driver (still need to get fitted for which one and loft), to replace my current TS2 9.5, when I saw this announcement.

My request is for more shaft options and a shift back to the 9.5 and 10.5 loft options. I’m constantly inundated with advertisements for SF Jupiter and Newton Fast Motion shafts, but can only try these at third party fitters.

Matte would be nice

Not sure how to improve on my TSR4. Probably the only thing I would ask is to have the next version of the “4” the same size as the others in the lineup. (?) Truth be told the smaller head doesn’t really bother me. Having a reliable driver is incredibly important to me. It makes the game more enjoyable when you can hit it with confidence and no reservation.

1. A “975 Mini” with the “New-old” Blue shaft. Pick your price, you have my money.

You can't beat the classic titleist look.

A driver that will still have reduced spin on of center strikes.
More standard shaft selection.(and have them available for fittings at your primer fitters)

I am loving my GT2 / GT3 set up, but always up for trying something new and have heard some good things re the new metals.

Hopefully it will look like a traditional Titleist wood!

This is exciting to see it coming closer to the beginning of the year!

I’ll start with this,
Please, Please do not go anywhere near Carbon Fiber.
I could be completely wrong, and if so, please forgive me. But I don’t believe, you even have any Carbon Fiber in your Driver heads to begin with, maybe the crown is? Please keep your beautiful sound of your specialized metals. My son, is now on his 3rd driver, due to the carbon fiber faces coming off or apart. Even the crown has popped off. The sound is like hitting a downed tree, just a thud, if you will. Please do not get me wrong, I wish the other company all the best with their new design and continued success. I will even go as far to say, my son has doubled down with the purchase of their new generation, of this year. A $697.00 gamble, I believe. With it, he has an average distance of 278 yards. Also, no further off from center line than 19 yards, either way. He did have a “true fitting” done with their team members this time. Not bad for a person who only plays once a month, between full time college and a part time job. But I gotta say, his part time job, is at a professional golf shop or store (Booger). He still has his first driver, a Titleist 2 in the bag, thank goodness! But to each is own

My point is, try to keep your current sound, or about.
Love it!! There is nothing like it. So many great comments over the sound of it. What’s even better, is the Distance!!
The other would be, if you could, is to add a “SureFit” system. Here in Maui, Hawaii, it would work beautifully with the constant Trade Winds at 12 to 18 mph daily. To stay as low as possible is nice. But, when the winds are down, it’s beautiful to let it fly! The sound is so pure! Yes, it is a pain to carry another driver, for those windy days. Besides I like the idea of being able to carrying another club that is used more ( like a 7 wood ) than just one time, per hole. I understand that some folks, do not like the idea of an adjustable hosel, why I do not understand. My thought is, if you’re not losing yardage with your drive, due to the added system, then what harm is it?? Just ignore it. Or possibly make it an option, but please do not charge more money for it. Add the extra cost to the upgraded shafts, maybe as alternative option. I don’t know. Just don’t add it to the Blue Collar worker, or the retired people on a fixed income. We all, love this sport and it is expensive enough, with exorbitant green fees. I also would implore you to add the Sure Fit system to all your other woods, to include rescue clubs.

The face of the club is of the perfect size, for me, it does help with the off center hits. A little cushion, if you will. In fact the club head is already a perfect size. Any bigger you’ll lose speed, I would assume. Any smaller, I believe that more people would complain, they’re used to the current face size. Either way, I can’t believe the cost for the time & usage of a wind tunnel, would be cost effective for you or the consumer. That is unless, you are planning on doing a full reconfiguration. ( I want to apologize to you & everyone else. I am not an engineer or even an expert, and it is a great possibility, that I am out of my depth speaking about this ). You have a proven product that performs absolutely beautiful. Only improving the face materials and the golf hosel, I would believe that the use of a wind tunnel isn’t needed. ( I want to encourage any criticism, bad or good, with what I have written. It is the only way that I will further my knowledge of this topic ). Now, if you can lighten it up and still keep all the same great benefits that you already have, by all means, let’s do it. More club head speed, is more than welcome by everyone, I would imagine. More speed equals more distance. Also, I really liked that you (at the time) had put a premium shaft with it, right off the shelf. Or maybe it was just a “little” bit of an upgraded shaft. Either way, ( I really like the Blue Tense shaft ) With having set that kind of standard, look at every other golf company, now following with the same preference. That in my mind, is a cutting edge leader, in the field of world golf. Not afraid to challenge the others and set a precedent. Maybe you didn’t make as much per-club, but you sure put a dinger in their game, by just simply adding a little bit of an upgraded shaft. You changed how they looked and thought about their own final product to consumer.
I am truly excited to see what you come out with in May or June of this year.
If by chance, you happen to need any additional feedback with the up & coming new Driver, I volunteer! I am available 24 - 7. Shoots, I would even fly back to the mainland on my own nickel. But you have to buy breakfast !!

I trust it will be perfectly fine. I just want the ability to slap it on my current shaft and get a decent trade value for the GT line I currently have. I sure wish I knew this was coming a few months ago when I got the GT3.

I think the lineup is solid. GT models 1 thru 4 offer a club for every type of player and I don't want to see that change. My wishes:

1) I would love to see something other than a high gloss finish. I think matte black would loom slick.
2) Return the triangle alignment
3) Update the Surefit adapter to allow the shaft of the spine of the shaft to remain on the underside of the club no matter which setting it is in BUT keep the old Surefit adapters compatible in the new heads. I'm no engineer but I think this could be as simple as creating a second ring that allows the Numbers to be rotated like the Letters do.

Since I am making requests, feel free to iron shafts with a Surefit hosel. Being able to adjust lie/loft without bending or swap shafts with the turn of a wrench would be a game changer for gear heads. The technology exists in the fitting cart.

Stop teasing and show us the specs please. Hope it can replace my TSR 3 as the GT could not. Not a fan of the carbon crown.

I’m excited! I’m all about power, most likely I’m going to keep the 3 and 5 wood from GT but there’s a good chance I’ll be upgrading the GT2 driver, I’m a sucker for their marketing and the quality of everything they release.

Look forward to testing the new driver
