I have the same beanie and mitts. Maybe I need to get some of the Knob Creek :)

I lean toward the hand warmer just because it means I'm walking instead of riding. However, the cart mitts are my glove of choice when it comes to shoveling!

So I can’t pick hand warmers in my cart mits? For this study, I’ll pick Cart Mitts

Much easier to stay warm than to get warm. Hand warmers in my old cart mitts. Maybe Santa has a new pair for me this year. Great post Abby!

  7. Needed FJ winter gloves a couple of days this week but all is well today for The Villages golf TT.

  8. I use Titleist Winter golf Gloves with hand warmers inside back of gloves. Toe warmers in Golf shoes and Titleist golf mittens with body warmers inside. This may sound excessive but it cuts down on the number of layers of clothing which provides more freedom of movement. Being 72 years old with Diabetes, I need all the help I can get to stay warm and play golf through the Winter here in Pinehurst, NC.

    Mitts+cold weather gloves=comfort.

  10. I wear the mitts but I would be open to trying the warmer.

Playing during the winter is not real complicated. Dress in layers that afford mobility. Use FJ winter gloves. Activate a pair of hand warmers and take one more club than normal. Walk, don't ride. It's all about creating sufficient body heat. Wear a comfortably warm hat. I prefer an insulated design with flaps such as one that swoosh put out a few years back. As far as mittens or large hand warmers go, they're not very practical. Can't see it. As for keeping your back up balls warm you should ask yourself if that is really necessary. If like me, you're playing in cold weather, you're not "posting" scores so unless it's needed for competitive purposes play ad hoc. Play skins or a modified stableford. Play different tee boxes. Adapt! Enjoy the company of your golf partners. Don't make weather an issue. Until spring rolls around, it is what it is.....a a way to get out of the house and spend a few hours with friends.

Mitts keep my hands warmer and if it is too cold I grip it and rip it with the mitts on!

When I lived in Florida, this wasn't even a necessary option. In North Carolina, I got mitts that stay attached to the pushcart.
  15. Would vote for the cart mitts, however I do not have a pair. They look nice and warm!

    Cart Mitts.....
I need to have the ability to hold on to something when my friend has a bad hole and decides to drive the Golf Cart in an unadvisable manner....

I have the cart mitts and they are great for when I am riding. If I am carrying my bag it is nice to have the hand warmer. It is one less thing to pickup after I hit my shot.
  20. The cart mitts are more versatile. Cart mitts for me.
  21. Neither, reading these posts I am so glad I live in Arizona. I hate the cold, my solution would be to start a job hunt somewhere warmer :)
