I dint participate regularly, but I read a lot. I enjoy the members sharing their achievements, travels, and stories.

I have been fortunate to test golf balls in the past, which was a big surprise when I got them in the mail.

I believe you will get from the site what you are willing to receive. Enjoy it!

The free stuff is cool and all but the relationships with the people you meet on here are the most valuable for sure. Also will learn a lot from some real Titleist aficionados

  4. I agree with all those above. I recently had a problem with the legs on my golf bag. Frustrated I thought about having my pro send it back to Titleist, before I did that I took a few minutes to post on this forum. Within 24 hours I had several response and problem was fixed (thanks Dale V). I also love being able to contribute to others that are having problems. This forum has been awesome, thank you to all the TT members and staff

The Beatles may have sang "The best things in life are free" but on this board those things are earned. Sign up, sign in, post, reply, be active...and keep checking the mailbox!
  6. TT was at my club last month giving out free AVX balls for demo.

Agreed. I would greatly appreciate anything I would receive, but had no idea they even did that. I consider that an awesome bonus. I’m new to the team myself and have enjoyed reading a lot of posts. Seems like a bunch of like-minded people who are more than willing to help answer any questions asked.

It really isn't about getting free stuff it's about meeting new people with similar interests and learning new tips and ideals to make your game better. We all share two things here the love of the game and loyalty to our brand Titleist.
  9. Always had a saying to my customers that "knowledge is power." The best "free stuff" that you get from participation
in this forum are the answers to the questions that are asked. They can save you lots of $ by following advice before you buy equipment that may be totally wrong or you.

While we all love free stuff, it's all about the community of Titleist lovers. I think we all appreciate Titleist for the value placed on R&D and innovation vs. marketing. With Titleist, I know I'm getting quality at a fair price. Anything else (like free stuff) is just an added perk.

I can think of no company that treats it's members better than Titleist. Just last year I had a surprise box show up at my door with 3 brand new Vokey wedges. I mean what company does that. I proudly display my TT bag tag. I love the fact that everyone knows where my loyalty lies. Especially considering everything I own displays the name Titleist.
  12. If your a TT member just for the free stuff you not only are missing the point of this forum but are totally not understanding what your missing each and every day. There is so much you can learn from the members and share with them. You need to be active in this forum. It’s kind of lazy to think Your signing up just for free stuff. Titleist is not obligated to send us anything, I am not big on social media and enjoy the simplicity of this forum. Team Titleist is not what you get it’s about what you can give to others by listening, viewing and sometimes replying a few times. I wish you all the best and welcome to OUR FORUM!

I was pleasantly surprised a couple of times to receive a couple of prototype balls to try, but like others have said, the best thing is contact with other players. Once I was looking for an original head cover for an older Titleist driver I picked up in my local shop. I posted it on the Forum, and a guy (local to me at the time) GAVE it to me for the cost of shipping, which was nominal. It's kind of like being part of a pretty cool club with many networking opportunities without the club dues.

With only 23 posts you can't really expect hitting the lotto do you? Be active and don't expect anything, then you will be surprised.
  15. Could not agree more with the sentiments expressed about being a member of the community. Frankly, that is the beneficial "give away". Seeing the interesting and diverse perspectives, learning from the Titleist informational/instructional postings, and having the opportunity to contribute ideas and observations. Yep, it is a pretty good deal. Go Team Titleist!

  18. I have received the bag tag but would really like the hat.
  19. They had the hat for sale recently which I didn’t realize was only available for 24 hours. Would like to have the opportunity to purchase one. Maybe they will have it for sale again before Christmas.

Best bet to get one next go around is to make sure that your communication profile is complete on Team Titleist. I know I received an email alerting me that they went up for sale. Limited items by their nature will sell out pretty quick as there is a rabid fan base for all things Titleist. Best to act quickly to ensure that you do not miss out. I think the great thing about Team Titleist is that they listen to the members and are always looking for great ways to offer us new and exciting opportunities from events, merchandise and ball testing.

I agree, I do hope the hats are available again, sold out by the time I saw them. I do like the super limited availability though, makes it more special to have one.

Free things are great and are a perk of being active in the community, but if you're a member just for free stuff, you're here for the wrong reason.
