    LPGA International in Daytona Beach, FL. Vacationed there for a few days in mid-Jan. Here in the Triangle area of North Carolina it's been a little rough weather-wise to play much golf so far in 2016.

    I've been on Marco Island, FL for the past several weeks and have played a couple times at a course called Eagle Lakes, which is close to the house, but nothing really impressive enough about the course to warrant taking any pics. The remained of my time has been spent on the range getting ready for a member-guest in Poinciana at the end of this week. Other than that, I've been on the beach catching some rays and watching the spectacular sunsets.

    Reminds me of a time a "few" years back when I used to golf year round here in Chicago. One day I was out in a "blizzard" thinking I was the only crazy guy out
    there. One hole, I started seeing these huge tracks--Sasquatch-like.
    Fast forward a couple of holes, and I found the maker on an adjacent hole. Larry Lujack ( Local DJ from '60s and '70s) was out there in a cowboy hat, bib overalls, wearing snowshoes. He just nodded at me. What game I had was gone because I was laughing so hard.

    He was a great fan of the fan of the game. R.I.P Uncle Lar.

    Didn't get to play, but walked a few holes with my girls at Highland Light in Truro, MA. The wind really whips out there, which is why they have such short flags.
