3 feet closer to the hole. 5 yards longer does't really do much for most of us (probably hit the same club for our approach).

Other - more durable cover. I get disappointed whenever I have to take a new ball out of play cause it has nicked up.
  3. 3 feet closer for sure, nothing feels better than knocking an iron stiff.

This should be a no-brainer ... 3' closer to the pin. Increases your putting % and chance of making more birdies. I ask that of my students who track their putting numbers and they ask how to lower it. "How close are you to the pin on your approaches?" If they say over 20 - 25' then there is your answer ... you are less likely to make from that far away, so you need to work on your accuracy & then your putting numbers will come down as you get closer to the hole.

Closer to the pin. The more "good" chances at birdie you get, the more birdies you make.

Accuracy with the irons isn't my problem, so I would go with 5 more yards with the driver!

3 feet closer the pin for sure, i had my lowest ever round on Saturday with 7putts meaning my long game is not the problem.

Why would anyone not choose 3' closer?
  18. with out a doubt, 3 feet closer.
  19. Close is always good, let the Scotty take it from there!!
  20. Anytime you can get closer to the pin it's a win, that's why practice and dedication to the game is so important.
