  1. GP Tour Velvet has been my favorite for years now. However, I really am liking the new Decade +4 grips!

I am with you Michael! I am confused with all the new grips out there. So many and I don't want to get some grips that I wonder are the best grips for me. I wonder if there is a certain grip for a specific golfer? Make it easier don't you think? Plus some grips last longer than others. I don't want to be thinking of my grips when I hit a golf shot for sure.

I use golf pride tour wrap (in blue). I love the durability and tackiness of them....usually switch them out every 2 years which save me some $$

I would suggest the Super Stroke S-tech grip! It's a great grip and it costs less then most other grips, but the feel is great. It's a bit tacky and soft. But I would have to say, the durability isn't that great, as I can see some wear already on the grip, but that could signal that I'm gripping it too tightly.

Regardless, I would suggest giving these a try and they just release a few more colors for this year.

Golf Pride is also the number grip on the tour. Just thought I would throw that in. They make awesome grips and you cannot go wrong with GP. Best bang for your buck.

Golf pride multicompound - they are great grips and last the season despite heavy use (sign of a good year). The cord gives great grip - I'm personally not a tacky grip fan, but most stores will have grip displays you can get your hands on. Good luck deciding!

I use the grey MCC +4 grips with 1 wrap full length and then add 1 wrap under my upper hand down 5.5". This actually makes them a +3!

I like the Golf Pride New Decade MultiCompound grips and use them on all of my clubs (with the exception of the putter obviously). I believe that the partial cord grip really helps me to maintain my grip on the club without too much pressure. the only down side I see is that 1) the cord is hard on your gloves and 2) they wear a little more quickly than some others and I replace them more frequently.

I run midsize grips. I change them every year (sometimes more depending on how much play I do). I've been through all of the major brands and a variety of styles.

Right now I have a mix of Golf Pride Grips. MCCs, Tour, etc. I need to standardize before this season and will probably settle on the tour velvet 360 that my irons currently have.

Another vote here for the Golf Pride MCC plus. Best I've found for me since Lamkin discontinued the Dual Density Crossline.

I have Golf Pride V-55 Full cord grips. Full Cords seem to be harder and harder to find in Midsize. I just ordered some GP Z-cord in midsize.
  13. If you like the Golf Pride cords, take a look at the Z-Cords. I play these and love the feel. I have found a supplier that allows me to get these in 58R. A little larger than the 60R that's the standard.

    Enjoy!

I just switched to the mid sized Zcord grip always like this style but enjoy the added thickness of the mid size grip.
