As I get older (62), taking full swings into a net in the garage as the weather gets wet up in the Pacific Northwest. Hopefully, we will be able to play through the winter months. If not, hitting golf balls into the net in the garage is the next best thing for your full swing to stay oiled and ready for the 2018 golf season!

I will be doing a lot of stretching and flexibility movements.
Winter time sets in tightness very fast, lot faster then we think.
Putting and swings are easier to recover if we are fit.

I'm in the process of building a putting area in my basement. It will be made of plywood covered by indoor/outdoor carpet and the plywood will be supported by placing the plywood putting area on 2X4's set on edge. Total dimensions will be 4' wide and 12' long. This should allow for hours of putting from several different lengths and by placing shims under selected areas it will also allow for breaking putts as well.
  9. Clock putting drill. 12 balls in a circle each 5 feet away from the whole
