With my back and hip issues I did not play this week, wanting to let them rest. Another tropical storm rolled thru here in the past couple of days dropping lots of rain. 3-5 five inches in Mt Pleasant where I live. My plan was to hit a few balls on the range, chip and putt before coming up on Sunday. Bad plan. Range near my house is closed, but not the course. Tried their putting greens and think they had Velcro on them. The course where I play is closed due the the Senior City Championships, so no luck there. Guess will have to see how things go and just plan on having fun and not worry so much about scoring. Pinehurst courses are just a beautiful trek and is great to be "in the pines where the sun never shines". In the words of Bill Monroe. But this is NC, not GA. Remember we do play golf for the love of the game. See ya'll Sunday, save travels.

The day has arrived. Getting ready for the Scotty Cameron Putting Competition and then it's N°4 tomorrow. Weather is perfect at least that's what the locals are saying and forecast is for much of the same for the remainder of the event. Looking forward to meeting new TT friends and seeing some familiar faces. Good luck to all the participants!

Just got back from Pinehurst and as a first timer I can only say WOW! Now I know why people sign up for this trip every year. From the minute we checked in it was non stop sensory overload. The welcome reception and putting competition were great but got a little hard to see the hole when the sun started going down. Got to meet some people that I've only seen here on the forum and made many new friends. Got 20,000 steps in on #4 Monday for a nice little warm up along with a T series iron demo (along with drivers, fairways, hybrids....). Tuesday found us on #2, the holy grail of American golf. It was my first experience with a caddy and big Will did not disappoint. I have to say it feels pretty cool when you knock it on the green and your caddy hands you the putter as you walk up. That was about the most fun I've ever had on a golf course. After #2 it was a wedge experience with the man himself, Bob Vokey. Then a round on the Cradle followed by dinner in the Donald Ross room. Today (Wednesday) we had a round on #8 followed by a trip through the pro shop to spend more money then the two hour drive home. Most of all though, I want to thank Allan and all of Team Titleist for working their butts off to put this together for us. Now I've got to start saving up for next year.

You hit it on the nails head, Guy. Titleist, being the first class organization it is, knows how to put on an event. And Pinehurst, what a venue, being from the Carolinas also, just south of you in Charleston area, nothing could be finer.
Enjoyed our round on #8 with Tom and Ted on Wednesday. I-95 always a delay when I travel. One hour to go four miles and then the rain. Did not ruin my day, but was very tired when I got home and my left hip was still attached.
I hope that more new members get the opportunity to attend one of the invitationals, the are definitely a bucket list event. When they come up if you have to think about it, it will be too late. Thanks to Allan and the Titleist staff who made this possible, those at the event and those back at the office. Mr. Vokey, you are the best and I finally got my picture of us together. I missed it last time your were there, I finally got rid of my flip phone. Thank is a ribbing I took from for my boys in NC. =) Kudos to all who made it possible and to all who took the time to come and make this a success.

So glad you got to experience it Guy. I have been to several but health reasons couldn't make this years.

You are so right about the caddy and the walk with the putter. That happened to me the first time at Pinehurst about 20 years ago, hit the green on my 3rd hole I think, and he hands it to me. It was the coolest 100 yard walk I've ever taken.

Big props to Allan, Mike, Josh, Emily and and the entire Titleist Team that puts these on, it's a lot of work on their part and they their reward is truly seeing the participants enjoying it so much.

Just completed the Pinehurst Resort post visit survey and I was reminded on what a wonderful time I had at the 2021 Team Titleist Invitational. From the awesome golf, food and camaraderie, the TTI did not disappoint. Oh yeah, can't forget about the visit by the iconic Bob Vokey; the stories he shared will be forever etched in my mind. One of the many takeaways I'll remember is "Trust the grind."

Thank you to all the Team Titleist Staff for all your hard work to make this year's invitational a success. A special thank you to Josh T. (Team Titleist staff) for the pointers he shared during the Vokey experience session...it really helped! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the 2022 TT Invitational.
