speedy recovery, Chuck! and be sure to follow orders. better to take a little longer to recover and never look back than to keep getting more setbacks and delays.

Returned home on Sunday with this wonderful bag on my side. Surgery went well. Prostate went to sleep and needs assistance. Very common for guys my age during surgery. Will visit Neurosurgeon on Friday and get stitches out and further instrutions. Have been walking a mile every day. Will be visiting my urologisit on Tuesday to get this tube out and have some tests. Still in some pain. The back brace helps some. Thanks for all the well wishes here and on facebook. Time is on my side and lots of walking to do for now. Golf, last thing on my mind right now.

Had a good visit with my Neurosurgeon on Friday and he was very pleased with my recovery. Took the stamples out and said everything looked great. Some bruising, but expected. Still some pain but normal. Have another visit in two weeks. Told me I needed to slow down on my expectations. He said my personalty indicates am in hurry to get back to normal ahead of realtime. Who would have guessed that. Told him yes sir and my wife was with me so guess I am busted. But proud I am up and walking and my progress. Goal next week two miles. Appreciate Team Titleist. Keeps me going.

Feeling much better today. Developed urinary tract infection from the catheter. Worst week of the recovery. Walked a mile every day in the house just going to the bathroom. Looks like I will behaving a prostate procedure in April. According to my urologist, easy procedue with a two week recovery period. Need to enlarge the passageway and too early to do it right after the recent surgery. He giggled and said it would help my golf game. He is a pretty good golfer, has a great sense of humor and looks out for me. Hopefully that is it. No more surgeries. Getting my steps in. Thanks all. = )

That sounds like a procedure I had done a few years ago. I called it the roto rooter.

Yeah, Guy. That's what they are calling it. Simple for guys like me. Need to make a little more room. I am a mess right now. Got to have one more dental implant and hopefully nothing else will go wrong. Bit down on a nut and snap, broke a tooth. Had ten of those back in the 80's. Have to wait until I am safe for that surgery. Just get me thru November and December. Am so looking forward to 2026. One major positive, celebrating my 48th anniversary with my lovely caretaker and lifelong love of my life. The one person who really changed my life in 1977.

Doing better with the back. Peridontal surgery on December 8th. Extraction and dental implant. January, prostate surgery. It's about the journey and life in the fast lane of a retiree. Hankuna matata. Good thing, nothing really serious. Hope to be hitting links in the spring and even back on the TT invitational tour this year.

Chuck, just keep plugging along with your walking. Good news is that we are in the right side of the divot. It is great to have a positive attitude; remember that positive attitude=positive results!

    BTW, Congrats on your 48th!
