Relatively late in life, but I haven't looked back.

I got 'fit' for irons at Edwin Watts. They gave me png, cally, and Titleist to swing. The only iron that felt consistently good through the swing was the Titleist. Turns out the other brands were on lighter shafts, like 40g, so only the Titleist 718AP1 iron felt like it was doing any work on the shot. I chose those irons right away, and then figured, not knowing any better, that my bag wouldn't feel right unless I had all Titleist clubs in it. I've since learned, at about 57, that I could change the shaft weight to exactly what I wanted, and I finally got all that squared away with proper weight and R flex.

It's been a journey. And I just put a brand new GT2 Driver in my bag.

I was enamored with the original TM metal drivers, then switched to a Big Bertha that I was given. Never could hit either brand with consistency so I purchased a Titleist Pro Trajectory 10.5 with a steel shaft. I could shape shots with this driver and didn’t suffer any loss of distance. From that point on I continued to build and expand my Titleist bag.

My memory is see all my friends playing DCI 990 irons and being so jealous because I’m a lefty and there all rights.
Then getting the chance to hit them and the 975 d at a local demo day I fell in love that day and have always had some sort of titleist product in my bag. Pure quality for as long as I can remember

I started playing Titleist clubs back in the early '80s actually 1987 was when I was first introduced to them when I was a sophomore in high school. Haven't played another club since. Well, not for very long anyway. But always came back the best golf company in the industry.

A set of DCI OS back in the nineties. Had over a half dozen sets of upgraded Titleist since. Never looked back. I'm 75 now and totally enjoy my T-300 set and TSi 1 driver, fairways and hybrids.

Mine was a dozen Titleist British balata balls I purchased back in ‘76. Great wind balls, at the time I resided in El Paso TX where it’s very windy.
  8. My first memory of titleist equipment is my mother’s Bulls Eye putter (by accushnet). She was club champ almost every year of my life (accept 1 year I caddied for her. Wouldn’t say I was a good caddy, but if all the scores were honest, accurate, and recorded on video, she would be undefeated in club championships. We watched the women refuse to putt out more than once in the final round. I said I’d turn her in, if she wouldn’t. Mom said, “she knows the rules and what she did wrong”. My mother also won the tournament of champions for all the regional club champs several times. After she passed away, you can be sure I kept that club. However, I do not have that magic touch and will stay with my Scotty Cameron Newport 2.5 (center shaft).
My first purchase from Titleist was when the van came to our club. I spent all day getting fitted for Tigers driver, a 975D. The first titanium faced driver. I literally wore that club out after playing it for about a decade. I loved the PT13 3 wood I had with it, but if I could still play my 975D, I absolutely would! I’ve never had more confidence in anything than my first driver I was fitted for! So many fantastic memories, thank you TT!

While I’ve been introduced to ProV1/ProV1x balls early on, my experience with Titleist clubs came at an event hosted specifically for women in 2023. It was a wonderful experience learning all about Titleist, including club fitting. Amazing.
  10. My first Titleist club was a Bulls eye putter purchased from my cousin that worked in a golf shop over 50 years ago. I am a left-handed player and the putter’s double face was perfect.
I still own a bulls eye, and use it for practice.

I was sponsored by swoosh at the time, using Victory Red driver, woods and split cavity irons. At the USGA Senior Amateur Championships at Mountain Ridge GC in NJ, the guy next to me on the practice range was hitting a a 910F 3 wood. And he was left-handed like me. I liked the sound and he let me try it. I liked the club a lot but never gave it a thought. Went with TM and used their R11 driver, woods and MC irons for a couple of years. My new swing coach was a Titleist staff pro and said I should take another look so I did, and after a number of shaft changes settled on 714 AP2 set, but didn't like the 915 woods at the time so went back to TM, as they were far more left-hand friendly at the time. Long story short, I came aboard two years ago and haven't looked back.

Every season, my trip to TPI is a treat, they have been good to me, though I still wish they were a bit more lefty-friendly, especially with the SC putter range.
