  1. I am a 6/7 handicap and decided to play 2 sleeves of AVXs around Dragon Ridge Country Club and found them to be very soft off the tee. Marshmallow-ish would be my observation. Feel around the greens was good, iron shots felt squishy though. What I did like was the low ball spin on tee shots making errant tee shots not so painful. Loved the trajectory too. I would love to have a ball that is right between the ProV1x and the AVX.

I tried this ball in Florida this Winter when it was test marketed and just loved it. I like to play a yellow ball for a variety of reasons but had limited options in the premium category for purchase. Now I only play the AVX. Love the feel off the putter and the only negative is that the AVX might scuff-up a little easier than the current Pro-V ball.

Voted for longer distance on iron shots, but I have to say that I also felt that this ball is longer through my entire bag. I also felt that somehow the ball is more forgiving. Driver swings that I thought were going to result in more curve than intended (due to it not being a good swing) actually hold their line better. I think this is due to AVX being a lower spinning ball on long shots.

This is definately my new gamer replacing the Pro V1x.
  4. Played them in Florida and was impressed. Going back and forth between ProV1
and AVX. While I like the AVX I have not given up on PROV1. I am still in the
testing phase --- more to come later.

Really reminded me of the Pro V. Loved the feeling around the green.

I love almost everything about this ball. Feels soft and consistant off the clubface. Seems to play slightly longer as well. The ball itself has a great look, and I love the AVX line while putting. The only con I (personally) see with the ball is the spin around the green. Doesn't seem to give as much check as my Pro-V1's do, so I'm not 100% sold yet. Otherwise, it's a phenomenal ball, and I'll continue to try it out!
  7. Nice soft feel and more distance......It's what I was looking for in a golf ball. I have been playing this ball for two months in Florida and now New Hampshire and I love it!

I have already made this my ball of choice. The 5 yards more off the irons is just what I was looking for this year. Shot some low scores already,73 and 77 nothing higher than 83 in the high winds. Great control with the irons. Driver not sure anything changed? That's a good thing. Strongest part of my game. Playing the v for 25 years or so.
  9. All the above needed to be an option. The feel was fantastic on all clubs for me. Distance and control gain was excellent. The first round I tried the ball I shot a 77 (10.4 handicap) yes I could have been hitting the ball better that day but the AVX seems to jump off the face and feels great around the green. I’m sold!

I believe the AVX combines the feel of the Prov1 with the distance of the Prov1x. In fact, the AVX seemed to have less spin and longer distance than the Prov1x with a softer feel.

I found a new AVX and played it a few holes. I did not care for the feel. Don't stop making ProV1.

Like the feel and the distance.
  13. I love the AVX balls. I was fortunate enough to purchase 4 dozen before Christmas. I also received 4 more dozen for Christmas. These balls are amazing. I have nothing but excellent things to say about them and I have gifted a few sleeves to guys I play with and they have in turn purchased some as well.

My first time using the ball at all, on a par 5:
-Piercing trajectory, longer than Pro V1 2016
-Reached this par 5 in two
-Very happy with soft feel on greens, love it!

I’ve lost a couple since then and am jealous of who never finds them.

My new gamer. Great job guys

Definitely longer off the irons for me than ProV1. Not as much spin off wedges. Still trying to decide which I should play.

Longer of the tee soft feel green side control played 5 rounds all lower scores below my handicap. Theses are fantastic balls.

Definitely leaning toward the AVX from the V1. Nice distance off driver and irons and soft feel on greens. I am in California so using the AVX for a while.

I like the yellow color I wish the pros would play so we could see better on tv.

I played my last couple of rounds with the AVX. I liked the soft feel as well as the distance. I am going to start alternating between the AVX and the ProV1X over the next couple of rounds to see which one stays in my bag.
  20. Enjoy the ball. Great distance, control and soft feel. Buying these going forward!
